It has been said time and time again, that the only thing that is constant in life is change. I believe that you will agree with me that that this is true when you see the evolution of the internet. Since the internet came up over 10 years ago it has change our world and how things can be done. I can imagine in the 60’s if someone had said in the future, it be possible to work from home and earn money on your computer, people would have laughed as such a person to scorn.
Right now, it is a norm, almost every household has somebody working online, I am sure there are some families that solely live on their online income and they are doing better that those who work 9 -5 jobs.
In the midst of this the evolution is still continues, about 5 years ago, if you wanted to drive traffic to your website or blog, you had to use back links, SEO etc. but in line with changing trends, Social Networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace can now be used to promote your business. In this article, I will talk a little about Twitter.
Twitter is the latest trend in Social Networking now; I would say I am not really into Social Networking but the way that everyone has been going about this made me get into the groove so to speak.
Basically, on Twitter, you have followers who are like your friends; you follow them and they follow you and you give yourselves give yourselves updates which are known as tweets. You can tweet on almost anything and this is an opportunity for you to tell people about your website, blog or products. All your followers will see it and if they are interested would patronize you.
However, make such a mark on Twitter is not easy; first you have to get a lot of followers. There are software that can help you have thousands of followers. You have to give relevant updates, not everyone is interested in knowing when you go to the bathroom, give them updates on your business. Lastly, be good to your followers so that they will keep coming back.
Happy Tweeting.

Making money as a newbie

The easiest way to create articles.
The world of internet marketing has grown considerably and especially now, when the economies of the world today is going from bad to worse. A lot of people have lost their jobs forcing them to depend on online jobs to make ends meet. If you have been in the home based business industries for a while, you will know that one of the easiest ways to make money online is through affiliate marketing.
Affiliate Marketing is simply promoting someone else product and when another internet user purchases the product, you get paid a commission for the sale that has been made. You sign up with an affiliate marketing site and pick the products you want to promote. The next step is how to market the products.
This is where article marketing comes in. Article Marketing is simples using articles to market your affiliate products. You write an article and submit it to article submission sites, if your article is good it gets published. But really, is it easy churning out articles on a daily basis.
From experience I can tell you it is not easy but by following these few tips, I can assure you, you would be able to do it.
Before you start, have in mind what you want to write about. If possible, divide your article into different sections (i.e. introduction, body and conclusion), and paragraphs.
No one knows everything. No matter how much you know about a particular phenomenon, you can’t know it all. Do some research? Read books, magazines, other articles and materials you can lay your hands on.
Once you get a clear picture of what you want to write, start writing. It does not matter if it does not all fit together. Just write what comes to your mind that makes sense.
While writing the introduction, you may remember or come across an important point you will like to put in the conclusion. Note it somewhere where you will remember to include it when writing the conclusion.
When you have finished writing, arrange your work so that it comes out in a logical manner.
There you have it; your article is ready to be published.
There are other easier ways to create your articles and new technologies that can create articles and submit to different article directories. To find more,Check this out!

Be a better Business Networker
Business networking has been a core part of all types of businesses and with the introduction of internet business in its various types and forms; it is almost inevitable for any person doing any kind of business not to become a networker.
First of all, we would like to know, what business networking is all about. Business networking is the establishing of relationship with other business people, and potential customers and clients. This relationship has to be mutually beneficial for business networking to work. It is a way of pulling your connections, both personal and business in order to have steady supply of new businesses. It is all about relationship building.
Business networking is not an easy venture because you have to be focused; you have to take a meaningful step each day to ensure that your networking is making a positive impact in your business. It must be strategic and proactive.
Here are five principles you should apply, to become a better networker.
1. Drop the “What is in for me attitude”?: We all know that the main aim of business networking is to get more people interested in your product and service but that should not be the main focus whenever you are in a networking meeting or forum. As I said earlier, the relationship has to be mutually beneficial, meaning that just as you want something from someone, that person also wants something from you, and as the Good Book says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” so your main focus should be what I have to give before I receive.
2. Participate fully in all network activities: It is very common to see in a meeting or organization where some people criticize anything their leaders do, but when you call on then to lead they refuse and they hardly volunteer whenever the need arises. This is a very bad attitude for a business networker. A much as possible, you should participate in all activities and functions. It is not all relationships that you will benefit from but you have a lot more to gain from developing relationships that you loose from being on your own.
3. Build relationships: Sometime we make mistakes thinking that networking is all about meeting people, exchanging business cards and after the event, the cards end up in your drawers or worse, in the trash. This is not business networking. You have to get to know people, make friends with them, complement them when necessary and call them up to know how they are doing from time to time. This will help to build relationships between you and your clients.
4. Be the first to give referrals: Still on the point of giving before receiving. Be the first to give referrals before expecting to receive. When you give, you inspire that person to want to give also and like they say, what goes around comes around. I can assure you, it would come around.
5. Listen: Communicating is not a one way street. To be a good communicator, you have to be good in both talking and listening, one cannot work without the other. Imagine you ask someone how the expansion of his business is going and he tells you all about what he is doing and blabs a whole lot more and before you know it, he asks your opinion on a particular issue. You are dumbfounded, not because you don’t understand but because you were not listening to what he was saying not even a bit. Imagine how hurt such a person will feel and this can actually destroy your relationship with that person and you never know how many people he can tell about the terrible listener you are.
With this few facts, I hope you will start thinking about being a good business networker, it is not easy, because it pays.

The role of outsourcing in business
Outsourcing is subcontracting a part of the process of a business to a third party company. This process could be in the form of market research, human resources, information technology, web design and development, real estate management, product design, customer service, engineering, accounting, product design, manufacturing etc. It involves transferring management or everyday activities of a business function to an external service provider.
A business may decide to outsource a part of its business process in order to make better use of its factors of production such as land, labor, capital, resources and information technology, conserve energy by taking advantage of the competencies of other businesses, lower cost, and make more efficient use of its time and energy.
There are different types of outsourcing
• Multisourcing, which enables different parts of a clients business, be sourced from different contractors. This is used for large outsourcing agreements such as in IT.
• Offshoring is transferring an organizations function to another business in another country. This is possible as a result of increasing demand for globalization. A good example is the increasing presence of Indian companies in America and the United Kingdom where the major process outsourced is accounting in order to calculate tax returns across seas for people in America.
The process of outsourcing starts with the suppliers presenting their proposals often through a bidding process to the client who wants to have its business process outsourced. The client deliberates on the processes they get from different suppliers and pick the one that has the best offer. This process of deliberation could involve interviewing the supplier. After the best offer is selected, the client and supplier go into negotiation where the proposals are converted to contractual agreement. The contract is finalized when both parties reach an agreement and this agreement is a legally binding document between both parties.
After the agreement has been reached, the transitions stage begins and this involves transfer of staff between the two companies and assumption of duties. Transformation is a set of projects that precede the main agreement while on-going service delivery is the execution of the contract.
In some contracts, benchmarking is introduced. Benchmarking involves renegotiation of the amount paid to the supplier. In this situation, a third party benchmarking company is called upon to compare the amount being paid to the supplier against current market prices and based on the agreement between the parties involved the price can be adjusted. The contract can either be renewed or terminated based on the needs of both parties.
Advantages of outsourcing include improved quality, access to talent, risk management, capacity management and operational expertise. However, it is not in all cases that outsourcing is good as it could also lead to reduced quality also known as Quality Fade, and quality risk which is the propensity for a service to be defective as a result of operational related issues.
This is a good place to learn! Check it out. ciao
